We’ll learn what makes you tick, what you do in a typical day and even understand what kind of music, sport, and hobbies you like. This is so that we can get the ideas flowing and present you with the best pieces solution to suit your lifestyle and inject personality into your beautiful home.

Aka Concept Design is all about listening, research and the collation of design ideas for your home. We’ll get to know how you live and your family & social rituals so that we can source or design the perfect pieces for your home.

We’ll put together a complete interior vision, use reference images, sketches, and materials to present our design ideas to you. Together, we’ll work through our design ideas and decide which creative direction to take with the Furniture & Styling for your home.

That’s right, this is where we take our initial design ideas and compile them into a perfectly curated list of pieces. We’ll present you with furniture layout plans, drawings of any custom pieces that we are having made and a complete itemised and costed schedule of each piece of Furniture, Artwork and all the Accessories.

We’ll take you on a showroom tour so that you can see, touch, and feel each piece before you make a final decision.

This is where we lock in each piece that has been selected. We will make sure each piece is ordered and paid for, then we will track each piece to stay on top of its lead time and arrival to your home.

If we’re importing any special pieces from overseas we will continue to liaise with the suppliers to arrange delivery options that align with your program.

Much like juggling, this is all about keeping all the balls in the air and staying on top of your deliveries. We will keep in touch with each supplier, track your deliveries, and work out any logistics or special teams that might be needed to install your pieces.

We will be there in person when everything arrives at your home to direct each piece to its final location.

Once delivered we will inspect and review each piece with a fine tooth comb and take care of any defects or damage that may have appeared on your pieces.

After all the rubbish has been cleared away, the delivery trucks have left, and each piece has been polished, wiped down and the dust has settled, our team will get to work.

We will move, shuffle, turn, twist and finesse each item in your space to style your home perfectly.

Once we’re finished we will take you on a tour of your beautiful new spaces and celebrate with a bottle of Champagne as we leave you to relax and enjoy!
